Odisha weather update: Thunderstorm to lash 11 districts tonight

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm is likey in 11 districts of Odisha tonight according to the forecast of the Regional Meteorological Centre.

Parts of Balasore, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Puri and Sundergarh may experience moderate thunderstorm and lightning.

Light rainfall and wind gusting at 40 kmph is also likely in these areas.

Such weather conditions are likely between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm tonight, as per the latest weather bulletin.

On the other hand, nearly half of Odisha districts have turned into a cauldron as temperature at 14 places crossed the 40 degrees Celsius mark today.
