Odisha weightlifters bag gold at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

Bhubaneswar: Bringing laurels to Odisha and the country, Sneha Soren and Jhili Dalabehera, two weightlifters from the state, clinched gold medals at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games being held in Australia.

While Jhili won gold medal in 48 kg junior category, Sneha bagged the top prize in 48 kg senior category.

Both were selected in the Indian team following a three-month training camp held in Patiala.

They had earlier grabbed many medals in national level competitions
