Odisha woman foils rape attempt; hacks man to death

Chandabali, April 2:
A woman belonging to Chandabali block in Bhadrak district of Odisha fought and hacked a man to death when he allegedly attempted to rape her.

The incident which happened on Thursday night when the woman had gone to relieve herself out side, Gangadhar Dash, a local followed her to the house and attacked her.
The woman was alone in her house as her husband had gone out to work but she did not panic.
The gutsy woman hit his head with a stick and when he fell down, she struck him with a chopper, instantly killing him.
A case was registered by Dash’s son in the local police station. The police have arrested the woman and send the body for post mortem.
