Odisha youth held for making girlfriend’s intimate video viral

Bhadrak: The Dhamnagar police today arrested a youth for allegedly making a video featuring intimate moments between him and his girlfriend viral on social media.

According to reports, the accused youth, a +3 student of a college in Jajpur district, had recorded private moments with his girlfriend, a degree student of the same college, inside the campus.

He then threatened the girl of circulating the clip and later did so, following which it went viral on social media and instant messaging platforms.

Acting on a complaint lodged by the family of the victim girl, Dhamnagar police arrested the youth from his house at Bahabalpur in Jajpur.

Though he tried to damage his mobile phone in order to eliminate evidences, police have sent the communication device for examination, sources said.
