Odisha youth tied to tree, thrashed for lewd comments at girl

Bhadrak: A youth was tied to a tree and thrashed by a woman for allegedly passing lewd comments at a girl in Langudi area of Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

According to reports, the youth intercepted the girl last evening while she was going to attend tuition classes with her friends and passed objectionable comments at her.

The girl informed her family members about the incident, following which her kin nabbed him, tied him to a tree and a woman beat the youth with footwear.

On being informed, Bhadrak Rural police reached the spot and rescued the youth.
