The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the itinerary of the Test and ODI tour of England beginning this November.

England will play a five-match Test series followed by three One-Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals on their tour of India.

BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke said England will start their tour with the opening Test in Rajkot which begins from November 9 and then move to Vizag (Nov 17-21) and Mohali (Nov 26-30). The last two Test matches will be held in Mumbai (Dec 8-12) and Chennai (Dec 16-20).

England will resume the tour from January 15 after a Christmas break when they play the first of the ODIs in Pune. On January 19, they play in Cuttack and the third match is set to be played at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on January 22.

The T20s will be staged across Kanpur (Jan 26), Nagpur (Jan 29) and Bengaluru (Feb 1).

It may be mentioned here that the Barabati stadium faced a ban after the bottle-pelting incident during the second T20 match between India and South Africa in October last year which ensued after the dismal show by the host. The match was disrupted twice and the visitors won the crowd disrupted match with 17 balls to spare.

Following the boorish behavior of the crowd, the Odisha Cricket Association has decided not to allow bottled water to the stadium to avoid any further embarrassment.
