Odisha’s Jitendra Mishra to be jury at Tel Aviv International Children’s Film Festival

Sambalpur: Odisha-born film producer, distributor and promoter Jitendra Mishra was selected to attend as the jury from India at upcoming Tel Aviv International Children’s Film Festival-2017 scheduled in Israel.

With the new offer and selection, Mishra, who hails from Titlagarh in Balangir district of Odisha and resides in Delhi, is the first Indian to join as the jury at the international children’s film festival.

Besides, Jitendra is scheduled to conduct a programme on possibility of film production with efforts of India and Israel producers during the event.

Jitendra, who is best known for the films like “I am Kalam” and “Desires of the Heart”, has produced over 110 films of the entire genre including, short films, documentary, feature and corporate films and successfully promoted so far.

He has been honoured with Young Jury award at International Film Festival India (IFFI) held in Goa. He has also received the awards including Future of India from Bollywood Entertainment Trade and Sun of Odisha award from New Delhi-based Odia Pua organisation.
