Odisha’s KIIT varsity students top city round of Mahindra AQ

Ritwik Kundu and Prakhar Saini of KIIT University won the city round of the Mahindra Auto Quotient (AQ) quiz competition organized at the SOA University yesterday in Odisha capital.

A team from Rourkela, comprising SAIL employee Sampad Mishra and NIT student Nishant Nihar finished second while Debjit Jana and Saswat Nayak of SOA University secured third position.

The Mahindra AQ, open to participants in the age group of 18 to 35 working in the corporate sector or engineering and management students, is sponsored by the Department of Sciences and Technology of Government of India. The winners of the city round will now compete in the regional round to be held in the NDTV studio in New Delhi.

The national finals will subsequently follow at the same venue, a spokesperson for Mahindra AQ said.

The city round finals was preceded by satellite rounds held earlier at Jamshedpur, Rourkela and Cuttack, she said.
