Odisha’s Utkal University ranked among India’s Top 100 varsities

Bhubaneswar:  Students and alumni of Utkal University here are upbeat as the varsity has found  place in the list of best 100 varsities of the country. The educational institution has ranked 96 among top 100 universities in the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2020, released by the Ministry of Human Resources Department yesterday.

Four other educational institutions, including two private universities of the state have also been enlisted in the national ranking.

Utkal University, the oldest varsity of Odisha, has created a niche for itself in the realm of higher education. Known for its top quality research in science and humanities,it has produced many scholars. administrators, scientists and economists of national and international repute.

In November last year, the university celebrated it’s platinum jubilee with commitment to upkeep it’s high tradition in education and research.
