Ola, Uber cab drivers launch strike in Odisha capital

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Mar 29:

Ola and Uber cabs will stay off roads in Odisha capital for an indefinite period as drivers of the two taxi firms have launched a strike in the city protesting reduction in incentives provided to them by the companies.

The cab drivers have alleged that the companies were earlier providing them incentives on each trip but are now giving the same on the basis of various packages for which they are failing to earn more by increasing the number of rides besides facing difficulties in repaying car loans.

The drivers have warned to continue the agitation till fulfillment of their demand.
