Bhubaneswar, Oct 22:

State PSU Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) today donated Rs 50 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to assist the people affected in cyclone and subsequent flood in the state.

The amount was presented to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik by Steel and Mines Minister Rajanikant Singh in the presence of Mines secretary G Srinivasan and OMC CMD Saswat Mishra.

Besides, the profit making company presented a Rs 400 crore cheque as the government’s share of profit for the 2012-13 financial year.
