Omfed official in Vigilance net

The Vigilance sleuths of Bhubaneswar Division today raided the residential buildings of Rabindra Kumar Dash, junior manager, OMFED, Bhubaneswar, at Dumduma Housing Board Colony and Jagamara in Bhubaneswar and his office in the capital city.

During the search, the anti-corruption sleuths found costly household articles, one Hero Honda Glamour bike worth Rs 240,000, gold ornaments weighing 177 grams and silver ornaments weighing 32.86 grams worth Rs 177,657, deposit in different banks and LIC policies to the tune of Rs 313,185 and hard cash of 35,170.

The official’s immovable assets include one four-storied building at Brit Colony, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar, one three-storied building at Badabari,Jagamara, Bhubaneswar, one single-storied building at Dumduma Housing Colony, Bhubaneswar, one double-storied building at Dumduma Bhubaneswar, one house at Sidha Mahavir Housing Scheme, Puri and 13 plots at Jatni, Dumduma and Sankarpur worth at least Rs 82,80,87 .

Total movable and immovable assets detected during the raid have been assessed at Rs 90,46,883 approximately.

The raids were on when the reports last came in.
