One more aide of Dhalsamanta brothers arrested

Cuttack, Mar 12:

Odisha police today arrested one more person from here for allegedly having links with the gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalsamanta.

The accused identified as Mantu alias Nibas Behera was arrested by Twin City Commissionerate police today.

A team of Chauliaganj police picked up Mantu, a resident of Kalyani Nagar area, from here this morning.

Notably, several cases are pending against him at various police stations in the city.

Mantu was involved in illegal gun running racket and was a close aide of Dhalsamanta brothers, police sources said.

Police suspect his involvement in the killing of Dipu and Om, sources added.

With Mantu’s arrest, the number of persons arrested for having links with the gangster duo has risen to 21.
