Bhadrak: Authorities of Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here closed its Outpatient Department (OPD) for two days starting today to contain spread of deadly Coronavirus in the hospital.
The decision for closure of the OPD was taken after a doctor and his driver tested positive for the virus, informed the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO). However, patients requiring immediate medical attention will be allowed for treatment at the hospital, he added.
“General casualty, paediatric casualty, isolation ward and labour room will function as usual. Wearing of mask in the hospital and its premises has been made mandatory for all staff, patients and attendants,” said a staff of the hospital.
