Bhubaneswar, Jul 3:
Odisha Private Engineering College Association (OPECA) secretary Binod Dash today alleged of the existence of a fake website of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) and that students are registering their names in it.

“Today morning I came to know that a fake OJEE website has been opened and registration of students was on against the names of few colleges figuring on it. While names of old colleges have been excluded, registrations were on for colleges which are only 7-8 years old. While students from urban areas are able to distinguish between the genuine and fake website, students from rural areas are facing trouble. This will cause immense loss to students. Students will get cheated both economically and mentally. I have information that the fake website is asking students to come with money and testimonials through the call for registration,” Dash alleged here today.
“Our official website is www.ojee.nic.in . We have issued advertisements in different mass media on this account. Students are registering on this website. There is no problem. We again request students and their guardians to visit our official website and register and not to visit any fake website,” said Tushar Nath, chairman OJEE in response to the allegation made by Dash.
It may be noted here that in 2014 OJEE official website was allegedly hacked and the Crime Branch police after investigating the matter had arrested one person.
