Orissa HC quashes writ petition filed in Ravenshaw Univ appointment case

Orissa High Court  has quashed the writ petition filed in Ravenshaw university Odia professor interview case.

A single bench headed by Justice A K Rath quashed the writ petition filed by one Prema Nanda Mahapatra who was aggrieved at not being called for an interview for the post of  Odia professor in Ravenshaw university.

The petitioner in his application had said that the appointment be considered illegal as he was not called for an interview even though he fulfilled the eligibility criteria.

The petitioner had appealed to the court that Ravenshaw University should be directed to call him for an interview.
