OSPCB Chief Engineer in Vigilance net

Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance conducted simultaneous raids at seven places associated with the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) Chief Engineer, Rabi Narayana Prusty on basis of allegations against him of possessing disproportionate assets.

The raids were conducted at Prusty’s residential flat of Prusty located at Kalvik King Palace, Patia; flat at Gajapati Palace in Jagmohan Nagar, Jagamara; shop at Barabhuja market complex, Khandagiri; house of relative at Shreeram Vihar, Nayapalli; flat at Shreekhestra Bhakta Niwas; house at native place at Nuapada in Ganjam district; office chamber of Prusty located in OSPCB building in Bhubaneswar.
The Vigilance raided the seven places of Prusty on strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

So far, Prusty’s one flat at Patia, a flat at Puri, a flat at Grand Bazar, Nakhara, one shop at Khandgiri, three plots at Khordha and Bhubaneswar, bank deposits worth Rs 70 lakhs, one four-wheeler and two two-wheelers, and gold jewellery approximately 355 grams have been unearthed, said official sources at the State Vigilance.
