Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC) and Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB) today presented the state’s share of dividend to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here at state secretariat.
Excise and Cooperation Minister Damodar Rout presented two cheques on behalf of OSWC and OSCB to the Chief Minister.
OSWC has presented a cheque for Rs 1.42 crore to the state government as dividend for 2011-12 financial year. The corporation has made a profit of Rs 14.29 crore for the financial year. It is to be noted that the corporation has 63 warehouses in 29 districts.
OSCB also presented a cheque of Rs 23.25 lakh to the Chief Minister as state share of dividend for 2012-13. The bank has made a profit of Rs 12.64 crore in the financial year.
