OTET question papers ‘leaked’; probe underway

Bhubaneswar: Question papers of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) scheduled for today has allegedly been leaked and doing the rounds on social media.

Sources said photos of the question papers went viral on social media while the first shift of the exam was underway. Education paper exam was held in the first shift.

The exam was scheduled to be held in two shifts today. While the first shift of the exam was conducted from 10 AM to 12.30 PM, the second sitting is scheduled to be held from 2 PM to 4.30 PM. Total 1.12 lakh students are appearing for the test today.

When asked, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahan Ara Begum said an investigation into the paper leak allegations is underway. The decision to whether postpone the exam or not will be taken once the probe report comes in.
