OTV Rajgangpur reporter dies in road accident

In a tragic incident, Odisha TV Rajgangpur reporter Nihar Das today breathed his last in a road accident.

He was riding his motorcycle on his way back home when the incident occurred at about 3.30 PM today.

As per reports, an unknown vehicle dashed his motorcycle, following which he fell down and died on the spot.

Rajgangpur police reached the spot after getting information and recovered the body of the deceased. It was later sent to Rajgangpur hospital for post-mortem. His motorcycle has also been recovered from the spot.

“We are trying to identify the unknown vehicle and the miscreant. Besides, we are also investigating the conditions under which the incident took place,” said HK Behera, Sub Inspector of Rajgangpur police station.

A resident of Bihaband village under Rajgangpur police station of Sundargarh district, Das (45) is survived by his wife and a son.
