Over 30 injured as picnic bus rams truck in Odisha

Athagarh, Jan 7:
Over 30 persons sustained injuries when a picnic bus carrying them rammed into a truck at Khuntuni Bazaar in Odisha’s Cuttack district early this morning.

According to reports, the accident took place when around 60 persons, including women and children, were returning from Sambalpur in the bus after picnic.
The ill-fated vehicle hit a truck from rear at Khuntuni Bazaar injuring more than 30 out of which five were critically injured.
The victims, all hailing from Gotalabindha village under Balianta police limits in Khordha district, have been admitted to Athagarh sub-divisional hospital.
The bus driver fled the spot after the accident, sources said.
