Getting ticket for Ind-WI ODI at Barabati won’t be easy. Here’s why

Cuttack: Around 5,300 tickets of Gallery No. 7 of the Barabati Stadium in Odisha’s Cuttack for the India-West Indies One Day International (ODI) cricket match scheduled to be held on December 22 will not be sold.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting between the officials of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) and local administration.

“The tickets of Gallery No. 7 will not be available for sale as the gallery is currently in a dilapidated condition,” said OCA secretary Sanjay Behera after the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) took stock of the preparation.

It was also decided in the meeting that carrying of polyethene bags inside the stadium on the match day will be prohibited.

Online and offline sale of tickets will begin from December 5 and 19, respectively.
