Bhubaneswar: Odisha's little beauty Padmalaya Nanda, who made the state and country proud by clinching three titles at Little Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant in Georgia, returned home yesterday.

Accompanied by mother Subhasudha Priyadarshini and father Prasanna Kumar Nanda, Padmalaya received warm welcome after she landed at 1.40 pm in Bhubaneswar airport on Wednesday.

Cuttack Stewart School chairman Asha Margaret Das, Bhubaneswar Stewart School chairman Rashmirekha Senapati and teachers welcomed her with flower bouquets.

Padmalaya has brought laurel for India by winning three mega titles at the international beauty contest held at Port City Batumi of Georgia, Europe. The 12-year-old girl bagged the prestigious Golden Crown Little Miss Universe Internet 2017, Little Miss Universe Grand Prix and Little Miss Actress (popularly known Best Talent of the world) at Little Miss Universe 2017.
