Pawan Hans helicopter makes emergency landing on road in Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput: A Pawan Hans chopper today made an emergency landing on road at Badamguda in Odisha’s Koraput district on account of bad weather.

The chopper was on the way to Koraput from Bhubaneswar when the weather deteriorated and the pilot was forced to land it on road, reports said.

The helicopter was scheduled to carry BSF jawans from Koraput to Visakhapatnam, reports added.

After a halt of an hour, the chopper resumed journey and headed towards Koraput.

Worth mentioning, the Meteorological Department had yesterday predicted of heavy rainfall in south Odisha.
