Vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids on the residence and the office of a pharmacist posted at a government-run healthcare facility in Odisha’s Rayagada district on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The anti-corruption wing sleuths raided the houses at Kalyansinghpur and Rayagada belonging to Ashok Kumar Patra who is posted at Badatadra primary health centre (PHC) under Kalyansinghpur block in the district as a pharmacist. Besides, raids were also conducted at his office and two shops owned by him.

The raids were conducted by a 10-member team led by Vigilance DSP Ranjan Kumar Das and DK Nayak.
