Bhubaneswar: A photo showing generosity towards stray dog by an employee of the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai during intense spell of rainfall went viral on social media.

In the photo, an employee of the Taj Mahal Palace, a luxury hotel of Tata Group, is seen sharing his umbrella with a stray dog on a road to help the animal during downpour in Mumbai.

The heartwarming moment captured on camera even influenced industrialist Ratan Tata. As soon as the heart winning photo started doing the rounds on social media, Tata shared the image on his Instagram account.

“This Taj employee was kind enough to share his umbrella with one of the many strays while it was pouring quite heavily. A heartwarming moment captured in the busy hustle of Mumbai . Gestures like these go a long way for stray animals,” Tata posted with heart emoji.

On busy streets of Mumbai where heavy rainfall wreaked havoc with devastation, the act of kindness for a stray animal earned praise from various quarters. The photo won the internet with over a million ‘Likes’ on the photo-sharing platform.
