Plaint against Odisha MLA for harassing daughter-in-law

Daughter-in-law of independent MLA from Champua assembly segment in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today filed harassment complaint against the legislator at Mahila Police Station here.

The complainant–Kavita Mahakud—levelled harassment allegations against legislator Sanatan Mahakud.

“I don’t know who has filed the complaint. My daughter-in-law is in my house,” Sanatan Mahakud said.

The eldest daughter-in-law alleged that she has been meted out physical and mental torture and also subjected to intimidation.

Besides, she also brought allegations against husband Pankanj and brother-in-law Dinabandhu Barik.

The peoples’ representative hails from mineral-rich district in the state and runs a mineral transport company. He was in news for his exponential rise in his movable and immovable assets in quick time.
