Bhubaneswar: Expressing pleasure over performance of regional parties credited with maintaining discipline in Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hailed Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the Upper House.
Addressing the 250th session at Rajya Sabha, Modi appreciated two opposition parties Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Odisha’s ruling BJD for following the parliamentary norms in Parliament.
He had all praises for these two political parties on his Twitter handle too.
Today I want to appreciate two parties:@NCPspeaks @bjd_odisha
These parties have wonderfully adhered to Parliamentary norms. They have never ventured into the well. Yet, they have made their points very effectively.
Much can be learnt from these practices: PM @narendramodi

Very often, Modi has praised Odisha’s ruling party BJD on many occasions for its policies and developmental projects in the state.
His acknowledgement undoubtedly sends a positive note to BJP’s oppositions in the Parliament amidst political crisis in Maharashtra.
