Police ASI caught taking bribe in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Vigilance officials yesterday arrested an Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) of Sambalpur Sadar police station here for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe.

As per the complaint, ASI Kishore Bagh had demanded Rs 10,000 bribe from a person to release his vehicle. Later, a trap was laid and the ASI was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe by officials of the anti-corruption wing.
