However, Khurania did not disclose which one of the D-brothers has been taken outside the state or the place where he has been taken to.

Sources revealed that one of the D-brothers has been taken to either Visakhapatnam of some place in Chhattisgarh where they have revealed to have murdered and disposed off the bodies of Dipu and Om.

As earlier scheduled the notorious D-brothers were to be produced at the SDJM Court in Cuttack to obtain their consent for polygraph test. It’s mandatory under the law to obtain consent of the person concerned on whom the test will be conducted.

The Commissionerate Police had moved the SDJM Court on Tuesday seeking court’s permission for conducting polygraph test on the D-brothers. The court completed its hearing in the matter yesterday and kept its verdict reserved while asking the police to produce the accused brothers in the court to obtain their consent.

However, a decision in this regard will be taken tomorrow, police sources said.

The change in the Commissionerate Police programme with regard to the D-brothers was prompted following revelation during its quizzing of the D-brothers that Dipu and Om were murdered outside Odisha.

During its interrogation of D-brothers police also came to know that notorious criminal Litua was one of their accomplices and used to work as a sharpshooter for them. In order to extract possible leads on the murders of Dipu and Om, the police had sought to get Litua on remand, who is currently lodged at Choudwar jail on charges of murder. Litua was brought by the police on remand from Choudwar jail for questioning yesterday night. During his interrogation Litua is learnt to have revealed some information on the murders of Dipu and Om which suggest that they were murdered outside the state.

Notably, Khurania had told the media on Tuesday that Dhalasamanta brothers -Sushant Dhalasamanta and Sushil Dhalasamanta had confessed during interrogations to have murdered their associates Deepak Mallick alias Dipu and Omprakash Swain alias Om in Odisha and had disposed their bodies outside Odisha.

Both Dipu and Om who were associates of D-brothers had mysteriously gone missing since November 12, 2013.

Khurania had said Dipu and Om were working for the D-brothers since 2000. They were involved in various criminal activities including tender fixing. They also worked as sharpshooters for the D-brothers adding for some reason they had differences with the D-brothers in 2013 and since then they went.

Following  Khurania’s disclosure of Om having been murdered by D-brothers his wife and father lodged an FIR with the Chauliaganj police against D-brothers alleging Om was kidnapped and murdered by the duo.

It may be mentioned here that Dipu’s father Adwaita Mallick had first tried to lodge a complaint with the police, on police refusing to register the complaint he had registered a case at the SDJM Court, Cuttack alleging that his son was murdered by D-brothers after police.

The Commissionerate Police arrested Sushant Dhalasamanta and Sushil Dhalasamanta from a rented house in Pokhariput area here on January 29 on the basis of Adwaita’s FIR at the Chauliaganj police station following directions from the court.

The Commissionerate Police during search at the rented flat of the D-brothers at Visakhapatnam had come across a photograph and driving license of Dipu.
