The Odisha High Court today admitted two separate cases alleging irregularities during the recent general elections and served notices to Congress MLA from Jeypore Taraprasad Bahinipati and BJD MLA from Titlagarh Tukuni Sahoo while asking them to file their replies within August 25.
The High Court served notices on the two MLAs on the basis of cases filed by BJD’s defeated candidate from Jeypore assembly constituency Rabi Narayan Nanda and Congress’s defeated candidate from Titlagarh Surendra Singh Bhoi.
The court fixed September 5 as the next date of hearing in both the cases.
