Posters surface in Odisha’s Koraput opposing martyr’s week of Maoists
Koraput: Amid observance of martyr’s week by Maoists in Odisha from today, several posters were found in Padua area of Koraput district opposing it.
According to reports, Koraput Yuva Jagaran Samiti, a social outfit, has put posters at various places in Padua urging people to protest the martyr’s week.

It has been mentioned in the posters that the red rebels have killed many innocent people branding them as police informers.
As many as 58 people have been killed by the Maoists in the last seven years, the posters read.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up by Odisha police in Maoist-hit districts in view of the martyr’s week.
Vehicles entering into Odisha from other states are being frisked at border points.
