Pratima Sahu wins prestigious ‘Mrs India 2021’ title

Rourkela: Bringing laurels for the State, Pratima Sahu, a homemaker from Rourkela won the prestigious ‘Mrs India 2021’ title at a national beauty competition held at Nagpur city in Maharashtra.

Pratima bagged the title after impressing jury members comprising personalities from modeling and film industry with her wit and beauty during the four rounds of the beauty competition organized by IBWA.

In the first phase, the selection was done online in December. Thirty married women were selected for the final round of the competition.

While Pratima won the title, two women from Maharashtra were runners-up at the event.

Pratima, who bagged the ‘Mrs Odisha’ title in 2020, is working as a teacher at the Ispat English Medium School and a News Anchor. She is also founder-Chairperson of an NGO ‘Neelam Foundation’.

Her husband, Prasant Kumar Behera is working as a General Manager at the Rourkela Steel Plant. Her daughter, Adisha Amirt is a Standard-V student.
