Pre-poll violence surfaces in Rajdhani college in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: In an incident of violence ahead of students’ union polls in Odisha, an aspirant candidate of Rajdhani College here was injured in an attack by some students and non-students.

The victim, identified as Biswajeet Swain, a +3 second year student, was hospitalised.

Swain has lodged an FIR with Khandagiri police alleging that some non-students thrashed him besides threatening to kill him for contesting in the elections.
