Presiding officer casts votes for others in Odisha’s Dhenkanal!

In a shocking incident, a presiding officer was reportedly seen casting votes for others at a polling booth in Sankulei panchayat in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district today during the fourth phase panchayat elections in the state.

According to reports, the incident took place when two women had come to polling booth no 3 of the panchayat to exercise their franchise.

Presiding officer of the booth, Ramesh Chandra Behera was seen casting votes on their behalf and also dropped ballot papers inside the ballot box.
