With the issue of notification, the process is now on for demolition of all structures within 30 ft from the temple boundary.

All formalities have now been completed in conformity with section 19 of the land acquisition rules.

Accordingly, notice has been served in the first phase for acquisition of land in Chudanga Sahi and Kalikadevi Sahi mouzas on Wednesday.

Notice in this connection has been pasted in the local area apart from making people aware of the administration’s move for land acquisition by using ‘dengura’ (drummers’ service).

Notification for land acquisition in Manikarnika Sahi and Baseli Sahi mouzas will be issued later.

On April 28, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central) had directed for payment of compensation to all affected people.

Sources said the process for land acquisition and widening of road by another 30 ft adjacent to the Shree Mandir will be completed by June 14.
