Bhubaneswar: Citizens can now use public and community toilets free of cost in Odisha as the State Government has waived user fees for the same.
People have been advised to contact ‘Mo Sahar Sarkar’ Helpline number (0674 2391395) to lodge complaint if they are asked for user fee.
In a letter to the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and NACs, the Housing & Urban Development Department of the Odisha Government has informed about the waiver of user fees towards the use of public toilets.
The civic body officials were asked to adopt IEC activities to spread the message – “No User Fee Required”.
“Make sure to always use toilets and help in keeping the environment clean in your cities,” the Department said in a message to the people.
