Pulwama terror attack: Naveen speaks to families of martyred Odia Jawans

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who termed the Pulwama terror attack as ‘cowardly act’, today spoke to the bereaved family members of both the martyred Odia Jawans over telephone and expressed his deep grief over the martyrdom of the two bravehearts.

Patnaik called up the family members of martyred Prasanna Sahoo of Shikhar village in Jagatsinghpur district and Manoj Behera of Ratanpur village in Cuttack district and conveyed his deep sympathy towards them.

The CM later observed a one-minute silence prayer in the State Secretariat paying tribute to the martyred Jawans.

Besides, Patnaik also directed Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera and Health Minister Pratap Jena to visit the two families today.
