Bijepur (Bargarh), June 23:

There is widespread resentment over the leakage of question papers for the Certified Teachers (CT) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Entrance examinations in Odisha’s Bargarh district.

There have been allegations that at least two examiners are directly involved in the leakage of one set of question papers.

According to reports, the incident came to light during the examination held at the Bijepur Girls’ High School on Sunday after a copy of the question paper was seized by the headmaster and the examiner of the Girls’ High School.

Sources said that a huge amount of money was collected from the students in the deal.

Out of a total of 200 students, 189 students from Paikamal, Padmapur, Jharabandha, Sohela and Gaisilat blocks under Padmapur sub division had appeared in the B.Ed entrance examination, while 188 out of a total of 203 students had appeared in the CT examination at the Bijepur Girls’ High School.

While the CT examination was conducted from 10 AM to 12 PM, the B.Ed examination was conducted from 2 PM to 4.30 PM.

However, the examiner came to know about the leakage of question papers before the commencement of the examination.

It was not known as to how the leakage took place in presence of the examiners, headmaster and the observer.

Admitting that the question papers have been leaked, ABEO of Bijepur Ashok Pradhan said stern action would be taken against those involved in the incident.
