“We have despatched the question papers for the first three days of the examination to the 302 nodal centres in the state in the first phase,” BSE president Prof Dakhshya Prasad Nanda told the media here today.

The question papers for the next three days will be despatched in the next phase after today’s lot is received in the respective nodal centres,” he said.

“The vehicles carrying the question papers have been provided foolproof security. We have already alerted the district adminsitrations and district education officers (DEOs) about the despatch. The question papers will be under round-the-clock security once they reach the nodal centres,:]” the BSE president said.

Nanda said the e-registration of the students, which had begun on January 5, is underway.

“Till now, 5,93,170 students have been registered online. For the remaining students of the schools who have not yet registered, we have asked the concerned school authorities to get the name of their students registered online on or before February 20,” he added.

Nanda also said the Board had asked school headmasters to report any mistakes in the online registration of any student to the Controller of Examinations with immediate effect.

“We have opened a control room led by the Controller of Examinations of the Board. The concerned headmasters can directly contact the Controller and rectify the mistakes,” he said.

Meanwhile, the admit cards, despatched by the Board from its Central office here on Tuesday to all zones in the state, have been collected by the schools from the office of the District Education Officer (DEO).

The schools that are tagged to the examination centres would collect the admit cards today after they are verified, corrected and signed by the centre superintendents (headmasters).
