Rahul Gandhi to visit Odisha again on Feb 6

Bhubaneswar: After back-to-back tours of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah to Odisha, All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi is set to visit the State on February 6. This will be Rahul’s second visit to the State within 15 days.

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Niranjan Patnaik confirmed the news, saying Rahul Gandhi will address two mega public meetings on February 06.

The AICC President will address public meetings at Bhawanipatna in Koraput district and Rourkela in Sundergarh district on the same day, Patnaik added.

It may be recalled here that the Congress President during his last visit to the State on January 25 had launched a piercing attack on BJD Chief and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi “remote-controls” Patnaik.

The Congress President had accused Modi and Patnaik of doing their marketing through industrialists.
