Rahul Gandhi to visit Odisha in October, November

Bhubaneswar: AICC President Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha in October and November, informed Odisha PCC chief Niranjan Patnaik here today.

However, he did not reveal exact dates of Congress president’s visit to Odisha.

Gandhi’s scheduled visits are likely to strengthen the party in Odisha and encourage the party leaders to work as per strategies for forthcoming 2019 elections.

Odisha will be the target for Congress during the elections as the party is away from the power in the State since 2000.

Under the leadership of Gandhi, the State unit of Congress will make strategies to fight the general elections next year.
