Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways today decided to run three more special trains from different stations under the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway (ECoR). With this the Railways has notified eight additional special inter-state trains from ECoR.
The additional special trains will run from September 12, 2020 whereas booking of tickets for these trains will begin from September 10, 2020.
Tickets will be available at reservation counters and also on the IRCTC website. Only confirmed ticket holders will be allowed to board the train, said a statement issued by the Railways.
The special inter-state trains are as follows:
01. KHURDA ROAD-AHMEDABAD-KHURDA ROAD SPECIAL (02843/02844)
From Khurda Road at 1840hrs on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays w.e.f. September 12, 2020 and from Ahmedabad at 1840hrs on every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays w.e.f. September 14, 2020.
Stoppages – Brahmapur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Kesinga, Titilagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Bagbahara,, Mahasamund, Raipur, Bhilai Power House, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Gondia, Bhandara, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Nandura, Malkapur, Bhusabal, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara and Anand between Khurda Road and Ahmedabad from both the directions.
02. KHURDA ROAD-OKHA-KHURDA ROAD SPECIAL (08401/08402)
From Khurda Road at 1040hrs on every Sunday w.e.f. September 13, 2020 and from Okha at 0830hrs on every Wednesday w.e.f. September 16, 2020.
Stoppages – Brahmapur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Vijayawada, Warangal, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Sirpur Kaghaz Nagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Sagganon, Malkapur, Bhusabal, Jalgaon, Amalneer, Nandurbar, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendra Nagar, Rajkot, Jamnanagar and Dwaraka between Khurda Road and Okha from both the directions.
03. GANDHIDHAM-KHURDA ROAD- GANDHIDHAM SPECIAL (02973/02974)
From Gandhidham at 2300hrs on every Wednesday w.e.f. September 16, 2020 and from Khurda Road at 1140hrs on every Saturday w.e.f. September 19, 2020.
Stoppages – Brahmapur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Kesinga, Titilagarh, Kantabanji, Mahasamund, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusabal, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad and Viragram between Khurda Road and Gandhidham from both the directions.

From Visakhapatnam at 2005hrs w.e.f. September 12, 2020 and from Korba at 1610hrs w.e.f. September 13, 2020.
06. BHUBANESWAR-AHMEDABAD-BHUBANESWAR WEEKLY SPECIAL (08405/08406)
From Bhubaneswar at 1800hrs (Wednesdays) w.e.f. September 16, 2020 and from Ahmedabad at 1840hrs (Fridays) w.e.f. September 18, 2020.
07. TIRUCHCHIRAPALLI-HOWRAH-TIRUCHCHIRAPALLI BI-WEEKLY SPECIAL (02664/02663)
From Tiruchchirapalli at 1620hrs on every Tuesday & Friday w,e,f, September 15, 2020 and from Howrah at 1610hrs on every Thursday & Sunday w.e.f. September 17, 2020.
08. GUWAHATI-BANGALORE CANTT TRI-WEEKLY SPECIAL (02509/02510)
From Guwahati at 0620hrs on every Sunday, Monday & Tuesday w,e,f, September 13, 2020 and from Bangalore Cant at 2340hrs on every Wednesday, Thursday & Friday w.e.f. September 16, 2020.
Other special trains running from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar to Mumbai, Bhubaneswar to Howrah/Sealdah, etc will continue to run as notified earlier.
