Railways withdraws pantry car service in Purushottam Express

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways today decided to withdraw pantry car services in 02801/02802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Special Express, till further advice.

In a statement, the railways stated the decision to discontinue the pantry car services in Purushottam Special Express has been taken keeping in view of the Covid-19 pandemic and due to low patronization.

The Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Special Express from Puri with effective from April 28 and from New Delhi with effective from April 30, 2021 will have no pantry car service, the statement added.

Passengers have been advised to make their own arrangement and bring their own food while boarding Purushottam Express, the railways said.
