Rainfall activity likely to increase in coastal Odisha from today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted that rainfall activity is likely to increase in coastal parts of Odisha from today.

Rainfall and lightning are likely to occur across coastal areas of the state, it predicted.

Some districts of southern Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall today, it said

“Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Angul, Koraput and Malkangiri today,” the Meteorological Centre said and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.
