More rainfall in Odisha during next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar, Sept 18:
Rain/thundershower would occur at many places in Odisha and there may be heavy rainfall at one or two places over south Odisha during next 24 hours, the local Met Centre said in its afternoon bulletin today.

Surface wind speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph will prevail along and off Odisha Coast during this period, the bulletin informed.
The bulletin said,yesterday’s Low Pressure Area (LPA) over west-central Bay of Bengal off north coastal Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts persists over the same area today.
Fishermen have been advised to ecercise caution while venturing into the sea.
