Rains to continue across Odisha

Bhubaneswar, July 15:

Rain/thundershower would occur at many places over Odisha during next 24 hours and heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the interior parts of the state, the Met Centre in Bhubaneswar said in its afternoon bulletin today.

“Yesterday’s Low pressure Area over coastal Odisha and neighbourhood now lies over North Interior Odisha and adjoining North Chattisgarh and Jharkhand today,” the bulletin said.

Gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph may prevail along and off Odisha Coast, it predicted while advising fishermen to use caution while venturing into sea.
