Rains to continue across Odisha

Rain/thundershower would occur at many places across Odisha during the next 24 hours, the local Met Centre said in its afternoon bulletin today.

Heavy rainfall would also occur at one or two places over interior districts of Odisha and gusty surface wind reaching a speed of 35 to 45 kmph, gusting to 55 kmph may prevail along and off Odisha coast during this period, the bulletin informed.

Yesterday’s Well Marked Low Pressure Area over West-central and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coast has moved and lies over South Chattisgarh and adjoining Telengana and south interior Odisha.

Fishermen have been advised to exercise caution while venturing into sea.
