More rains in Odisha over next 24 hours

Rain or thundershower would occur at a few places over Odisha while heavy rainfall may occur at one or two places over South Odisha during the next 24 hours under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over coastal areas of the state and the adjoining areas of Northwest Bay of Bengal, the weather department said this afternoon.

A low pressure area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West-Central Bay of Bengal at 0830 hours IST today, the Met office here said.
