Rare chameleons rescued, two held

Forest officials today rescued two rare chameleon species from Mahakalapada forest range and arrested two persons.

Acting on a tip-off that that some outsiders were trying to smuggle these rare species, a team of forest officials rushed to the spot and arrested the duo.

The two chameleons were later released in the forest.
